Note: All organizations volunteering at the Alton Amphitheater must be able to provide documentation of their non-profit status.
Volunteer organizations are expected to be on-site for scheduled events at least one hour prior to event start time unless otherwise noted upon scheduling. Organizations are expected to follow all on-site directions from Amphitheater Commissioners, Commission Staff, and City of Alton Staff. Any organization not following directions, failing to provide proper number of volunteers, or violating Commission rules may be prohibited from future volunteer opportunities. Organizations will receive a donation based on the following fee schedule plus all cash tips earned while performing volunteer duties:
NEW: Due to state regulations, individuals serving alcohol must complete Illinois BASSETT Certification. At least three members of your organization must complete this training in order to volunteer at Commission sponsored events and must provide copies of their completed training certificates to the Commission prior to any event. Training can be completed at https://www.illinoisbassetcertification.com/ for $14.75 per person, the cost of which is the responsibility of your organization.
Applications will be considered by the Amphitheater Commission as they are received.
